As we get into this holiday season, it's incredibly easy to let our health goals take a back seat over the next two weeks. but hey, who says you can't fully enjoy the holidays and stay on track with your health and wellness journey? Let's debunk that myth!


  1. MINDSET IS EVERYTHING: WHILE THE ACTIONS THAT WE DO OR NOT TAKE ARE INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT, HOW WE ARE PREPARING OUR MIND TO ACT WILL PLAY THE BIGGER ROLE. THIS SORT OF ACCOUNTABILITY OF OUR MIND WILL BE KEY IN ENSUREING AN ENJOYABLE AND SUCCESSFUL HOLIDAY SEASON

  2. BALANCE IS KEY: OPERATING OUT OF A MINDSET OF ABUNDANCE RATHER THAN SCARCITY, WE ARE ABLE TO balance those delicious holiday meals AND TREATS with healthier choices. (Spoiler: It's easier than you think!)

  3. REASON FOR THE SEASON: WHETHER THAT BE THE HEALTH SEASON YOU ARE IN OR FOCUSING ON THE REASONS YOU ARE CELEBRATING THIS HOLIDAY, THE FOCUS DOESN'T HAVE TO BE FOOD.

  4. PRACTICALITY IN TOTALITY: DURING THE HOLIDAYS, OUR SCHEDULE IS OFTEN THROWN CURVE BALLS WE DON'T SEE COMING IN ALL ASPECTS OF OUR HEALTH. BEING PROACTIVE WITH OUR NON-NEGOTIABLES IS GOING TO ALLOW YOU TO FEEL IN CONTROL NO MATTER WHAT.

  5. ENJOYMENT WITHIN MODERATION: UNLESS YOU HAVE EXTREME DISCIPLINE, WHEN TEMPTATIONS HIT, THE TOWEL GETS THROWN IN. IN ORDER TO SET YOU UP FOR SUCCESS, I'VE LAID OUT WHAT A "GREY" APPROACH TO MANY "BLACK + WHITE" SCENARIOS, SO THAT YOU CAN RESPECT THE GOALS YOU HAVE REGARDLESS OF THE ENVIRONMENT YOU ARE IN.
